The
Story
of
It started over 50 years ago, while in Chicago...
While attending one of our annual family reunions, my great Aunt, and mother decided I would go to Wilton’s School of Cake Decorating. ‘Auntie’ as we fondly called her has since passed on but was the matriarch of my family and loved cooking and so do I. Being a young teenager, decorating cakes was the farthest thing from my mind, but little did I know this skill would come in handy someday.

As time passed, 1 marriage, 2 children, divorce, and over 40 years, wearing many hats for one of Cleveland’s most prestigious research universities, I decided that what I had learned as a teen could now pay off. Like Auntie, I have always enjoyed cooking for family and friends, so I started baking in ‘Big Mama’s’ kitchen. After some time I had many tasty desserts on the menu and here we are.

We’d like to share our desserts with you. Some of my recipes come from Auntie’s cookbook, ‘Touch of the South”. Many of my customers have commented that my cheesecakes are better than that Cheesecake Place we know and love. However, We’ll let you be the judge.

For those of you who don’t live in the Cleveland area, we apologize. We’re currently only a local company. But stay tuned! We may surprise you soon!
